Mouthwatering boxing action on the cards

The MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing Academy will host the Independence Boxing Bonanza, Together As One, Part 10, on 1 September, with three mouthwatering bouts on the card.

Yesterday, Boxing promoter Nestor Tobias announced three bouts that boxing fans can anticipate for the night.

In the national title fight (welterweight division, 10 rounds), Immanuel Mungadjela will face Hedison Nghipondoka.

Mungadjela has 21 fights, 16 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw. His opponent, Nghipondoka, has a record of 11 fights, with 5 wins and 6 losses.

Setting the stage

On the other hand, the WBO Africa welterweight title will also be on the line, with Charles Shinima set to defend it against an experienced opponent, Idd Pialari of Tanzania.

Shinima boasts a record of 16 undefeated fights, whereas his opponent has 40 fights, 31 wins, 8 losses, and 1 draw. Another local boxer, Paulinus Ndjolonimus, will be challenged for this WBO International super middleweight title. His opponent is yet to be announced.

Ndjolonimus has an undefeated record of 16 fights.
