Oliver Durand (15) is a swimmer that is very well known in Namibia. He has participated in many competitions and won several medals. He has been selected to take part in the Commonwealth Youth Games 2023, in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Commonwealth Youth Games is an international multi-sport event organized by the Commonwealth Games Federation.

Durand is one of two Namibian swimmers going to participate at the event, along with Jose Canjulo.
