‘Key pillar in junior golf development’
After attracting 63 golfers last year, organisers aim to increase participation to 80 golfers in this year’s series.
“DSA is dedicated to shaping the future of Namibian golf. Our goal is to set a benchmark for junior golf development. By providing a structured pathway for young players, the series aims to be a key pillar in junior golf development, fostering excellence, sportsmanship and a lifelong love for the game,” Da Silva said.
DSA envisions the series evolving into a nationally recognised qualifier, playing a key role in developing Namibia’s next elite golfers.
Regarding Momentum’s sponsorship, Da Silva emphasised its impact in creating a professional and inspiring environment for young talents. “Momentum’s support has allowed us to provide young players with opportunities to compete at a high level while fostering their personal and athletic growth,” he noted.
“As we look ahead, I am confident the series will continue to grow and eventually become a stepping stone for juniors aiming to compete at national and international levels. Together, we are building a future where young players can achieve their full potential!”
