The Namibian Triathlon Federation expressed its congratulations to para-athlete Jerome Rooi, who achieved the second position at a Para Cup event in Alhandra, Portugal. The young Namibian was barely one minute behind the winner, Javier Rubio of Spain. Rooi has been preparing in Europe for this coming weekend’s world championship in Torremolinos, Spain. “Dedication and hard work truly pay off – well done, Jerome!” the NTF’s message in social media said.
